The Sleeping Car Jason resumes his college career and moves into an old converted sleeping car. From the outset, terrifying visions disturb Jason while both asleep and awake. Dismissing his fears as nerves, he continues to pursue his journalism studies as Kim, a pretty coed, pursues him. They begin a steamy relationship, but Kim too feels the malevolence of the sleeping car. Increasingly violent encounters with "The Mister" and a series of mysterious disappearances lead the desperate couple to seek the help of Jason's weird neighbor, Vincent Tuttle.
