Sister Sister Matt Rutledge, a Congressional aide from D C, comes to Louisiana in search of "two whole days of peace and quiet." He gets more than he bargained for when he checks into The Willows, a once grand antebellum mansion of the outskirts of New Orleans. The decaying house has been turned into a bed-and-breakfast inn by Charlotte Bonnard, who lives there with her younger sister Lucy. As Matt grows closer to the fragile Lucy, he discovers that it's more than filial devotion that binds the sisters together. |
