2000 Maniacs A small southern town whose citizens were massacred by Union troops during the Civil War magically reappears a hundred years later. Six traveling Yankee tourists find their warm reception suddenly turn cold as the residents are transformed into maniacs, out to seek revenge. The fun starts when one of the girls loses her thumb in a romantic encounter with one of the townsmen in the woods.
